Translate text using Adobe Express in Acrobat

Learn how to translate documents in multiple languages from Adobe Acrobat using Adobe Express. 

Easily translate your entire PDFs directly from Acrobat using Adobe Express and share them with colleagues, customers, or students worldwide in their preferred language. Creating and maintaining multiple language versions is not required, saving you time and effort.

  1. Open your PDF in Acrobat.

  2. Select Convert from the global bar.

  3. Select Translate this PDF. Your document opens in Adobe Express.

  4. In the Translate panel of Adobe Express, select your target languages from the Translate to dropdown menu.  The source language is automatically recognized.

  5. Choose to translate all pages, one page, or specific text.

  6. You can also select the Tone of voice as formal or informal to suit your audience. 

  7. Select Translate. Your translated document is saved in Your stuff or Recent in Adobe Express.

    Translation may be skipped for scanned, secured, large, or complex PDFs, or those using unsupported fonts or languages.

  8. Download the translated document as a PDF or share it directly.
