No audio playback | Ubuntu add-in | Adobe Connect 8 Add-in

When you share audio in the Adobe Connect 8 Add-in for Ubuntu (Linux), audio does not play in the meeting room. 

Solution

Load the meeting room in the browser, not in the Add-in.  To load the meeting room in the browser, add ?launcher=false to your room URL and reload the room. The following is a sample URL:

http://myconnectserver.com/mymeeting?launcher=false

Additional information

This issue is a result of the audio components Adobe uses for the Linux add-in. This issue does not happen on Windows or Mac OS versions of the Add-in. This issue does not happen when a meeting runs in the Ubuntu version of Flash Player in the browser. 

When a meeting is running in the Adobe Connect Add-in, the Add-in opens as a stand-alone application. You do not see browser menu bars.
