Presentations copied from remote desktop don't convert

Issue

Published presentations (bundled as a ZIP file) don't convert when uploaded directly to the Share pod in an Adobe Connect Meeting Room. You copied the files from a Windows 7 computer accessed via Windows remote desktop directly to the Share pod in an Adobe Connect Meeting Room.

The error returned in the room is "There was an error converting your file."

Solution

The remote desktop adds extraneous metadata to the zip file, which Connect doesn't read. To resolve this issue, copy the source PowerPoint files from the remote desktop and publish them locally. Then upload them directly to Connect from the remote desktop.
