Learn how to share a whiteboard in a share pod in an Adobe Connect session.
The whiteboard in Adobe Connect is an interactive tool that allows attendees to draw, write, and collaborate in real-time during meetings or webinars. Hosts or presenters can use a whiteboard to create text and shapes, insert some symbols, and draw freehand drawings in real time during a meeting. Meeting hosts can further encourage collaboration by providing drawing rights to some or all participants.
The following topics are covered in this article:
You can use a whiteboard in two different ways in a Share pod:
A stand-alone whiteboard allows presenters to create content on a white background. In the share pod, select Whiteboard to create a standalone whiteboard.
An overlay whiteboard enables presenters to add content directly onto an existing document in the share pod, allowing for annotations and drawings over the document. It can be applied to presentations, images, and PDFs, enhancing interactivity and engagement. You can select Draw in the share pod when sharing PPTX / PDF. Additionally, you can pause and annotate when screen sharing to annotate the screen.
If you turn off sharing, change the content in a share pod, or close the share pod, the whiteboard remains part of the room and can be displayed again.
