There are two Adobe update icons in the menu bar or taskbar.
In your menu bar (Mac OS) or taskbar (Windows), there are multiple icons indicating available Adobe updates.
Disable Application Manager update notifications.
Do the following:
- Launch a Creative Suite application (such as Photoshop or Acrobat) and choose Help > Updates to launch the Adobe Application Manager.
- Click Preferences and deselect Notify Me of Updates in the Menu Bar.
