Issue
When you try to install an Adobe product update, you receive the following error message:"Please close the following applications to continue: - LogTransport2."
Solution
To resolve this issue, try the following solutions in order:
Restarting closes all running processes, including LogTransport2. After restart, try to run the update installation before you launch any other programs.
Windows:
- Right-click the taskbar and choose Task Manager.
- Find LogTransport2 in the Processes tab and click to select it.
- Click the End Task button.
Note:
In Windows 8, it may be necessary to click More Details to see all running processes.
Mac OS:
- In the Applications/Utilities folder, launch Activity Monitor.
- In the Process list, click LogTransport2.
- Click the stop sign icon at the top.
- Choose Force Quit.
