When you deactivate a Creative Suite 6 product, you receive the following error:

"Deactivation was not successful. Please try again....If this problem persists please contact Customer Support. 194:7."


Solution 1: Launch Adobe Application Manager and allow the auto update process to complete.

Note: The Adobe Application Manager updates automatically during launch. It installs the latest components and allows you to license your product. Perform any one of the following steps below to update.

If present, double-click the Adobe Application Manager link on your Desktop.


Choose Start > All Programs > Adobe Application Manager.

Mac OS

Double-click Hard Drive > Applications > Adobe Application Manager.

Solution 2: Download the latest copy of Adobe Application Manager.
