Smart tagging does not work in Elements Organizer 15 on Mac OS

When you launch Elements Organizer on your Mac OS, it does not automatically analyze photos in your catalog and does not generate tags for them.
This happens when you install Photoshop Elements from a user account but access it from another user account on the same system.

Solution

  1. Login to your Mac machine with the user account with which you want to use Photoshop Elements.

  2. Navigate to /library/Application Support/Adobe/Elements Organizer/15.0 and delete the autotag folder.

  3. Launch Elements Organizer.

Elements Organizer automatically analyzes photos in your catalog and generates tags for them.
