Supported file formats | FrameMaker 10

Adobe FrameMaker 10.0 can import native FrameMaker (*.fm) files created in FrameMaker 3.0 or later on Mac OS, Windows, or UNIX.

You can transfer FrameMaker files between platforms as long as you use the same major version of FrameMaker on both platforms.

FrameMaker 10.0 can also open MIF (Maker Interchange Format) files from any previous version of FrameMaker. 

You can also save files created in FrameMaker 10.0 in the FrameMaker 9.0 format.
