The LeapCommunicator plugin may cause Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Reader to close unexpectedly.

To resolve this issue on Windows, disable or uninstall the plugin and relaunch Acrobat.

  • To disable the LeapCommunicator plugin, update Acrobat to the latest version, then go to Menu > Preferences, select Plugins from the left pane, select the Disable LeapCommunicator Plugin checkbox, and then select OK.
  • To uninstall LeapCommunicator, go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, select LeapCommunicator Adobe Plug-In, and select Uninstall.

Left pane appears blank after opening a PDF
