Learn how to enhance the resolution of your images while preserving natural details and improving clarity using Generative Upscale in Photoshop Elements.
Use Generative Upscale to increase the resolution of your images using generative AI. You can access the feature from Quick Actions or the Edit menu.
Do one of the following:
- Open the AI mode and select Generative Upscale.
- or Select Quick Actions > AI Edits > Generative Upscale.
- or Select Edit > Generative Upscale.
Select an AI model:
- Firefly Image 4
- Topaz Gigapixel
Choose an upscale factor:
- 2× - Doubles the image dimensions.
- 4× - Quadruples the image dimensions.
Click Upscale and wait for the process to complete.
Notă
After you click Upscale, the upscaling process starts immediately and cannot be canceled.
Notă
Photoshop Elements includes 25 generative credits per month, while the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundle includes 100 generative credits per month. Credits reset monthly, and you can purchase a Firefly plan for additional credits. The number of credits used for each upscale operation varies based on the selected AI model and image dimensions. The required credits are displayed in the dialog before you select Upscale. To view your available credits, select the Credit Balance icon in the Upscale dialog or Quick Action.
Generative Upscale is a credit-based feature. Each upscale operation consumes generative credits. To learn more about Generative credits, see Generative Credits in Photoshop Elements.
