Bitmap2Material is a legacy product and is no longer supported.
Bitmap2Material history
Bitmap2Material (B2M) enabled users to convert image files into materials by generating textures, such as base color, metallic, and roughness, in order to easily replicate real-world materials in 3D. B2M also included various tools for making materials tileable, allowing for seamless textures.
More advanced versions of the Bitmap2Material features are now available in Adobe Substance 3D Sampler, or, for more control, you can use Adobe Substance 3D Designer to perform powerful manipulations of input bitmap images.
Bitmap2Material was originally released in 2010, with improvements following until 2014, after which the functionality of B2M continued to live on in the B2M node in Substance Designer, and later in Substance Alchemist (the precursor to Adobe Substance 3D Sampler).
