Issue
Adobe Media Encoder (AME) becomes unresponsive when launched from the September update of Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2020 release.
Cause
Technical communication Suite 2020 has two versions of AME bundled as part of its September update. One with AME (version 12.1.2) for Presenter as part of its installer file, and the other with AME (version 14) for the rest of the products in Technical Communication Suite.
AME gets unresponsive when the installer file (version 12.1.2) is used for the rest of the products in Technical Communication Suite.
Solution
Close the unresponsive AME program and uninstall it.
Select and install the latest AME (version 14), which is available for the rest of the products from the September update of Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2020, and not from the Presenter build with AME (version 12.1.2).
Presenter (Pn), also works with the latest AME (version 14), other than AME (version 12.1.2) that is available as a default installer for Pn.
