Select Menu > Preferences.

Windows
Select Signatures from the Categories menu, and then select More under Identities & Trusted Certificates.
Select Digital IDs and select the add digital ID icon.
Select any one of the following options depending upon the source of the digital ID you are registering:
- A file: The digital ID is an electronic file. Follow the prompts to select the digital ID file, type your password, and add the digital ID to the list.
- A roaming digital ID accessed via a server: The digital ID is stored on a signing server. When prompted, type the server's name and URL where the roaming ID is located.
- A device connected to this computer: The digital ID is contained on a security token or hardware token connected to your computer.
Select Next.
Select.p12 from the folder, server, or device and then select Open.
Type the password that you set for the digital ID and then select Next.
Select Finish.
macOS
Select Acrobat > Preferences.
