How to remove the colored border surrounding an image after assigning a link to it

A colored border is standard for images that have had links assigned to their anchor tags in HTML. The border property of the anchor tag controls the thickness of the border around the image. In Dreamweaver, this property is set to a thickness of 1 by default. For an invisible border around the image, change the property value to 0.

To change the property value to 0, do the following:

  1. Select the image.
  2. Maximize the Property inspector. If the Property inspector is not open select Window > Properties.
  3. Click inside the Border field.
  4. Enter 0.
