Places - Enhancements

The Events room in the next version of Elements Organizer is being revamped. This revamp is being done to the UI and workflows to:

• Ensure the experience is consistent with the new changes in the People and Places rooms.
• Make it easier to create new Events from Auto Suggested Events.

We request you to explore and provide your feedback regarding any Usability Improvements in various workflows available in the Events room. Please note that the visual design is still a work-in-progress.

Some improvements:

• Instead of clustering images into stack, this time the images will be clustered in form of tracks on the basis of date so that one can look at multiple images at front instead of just one as top of stack.This grouping into tracks can be controlled by ‘Refine groups’ slider.
• Each track will carry a date to which these images were shot.
• To name an event out of any images, click-select the images or track (to select an entire track, click the checkbox to its left) and click ‘Name Event’ to start the Add Event dialog
• Events can also be created from images belonging to different tracks.
