Enable Beta apps in the Creative Cloud desktop app

Learn how to enable the Beta apps option in the Creative Cloud desktop app if you're unable to find it.

If the Beta apps option isn't visible in your Creative Cloud desktop app, try the following solutions sequentially based on your plan.

If you've received your plan from a school or organization

Contact your admin if in the Creative Cloud desktop app:

  • The Beta apps tab is missing
  • The Apps tab displays the message: "You don't have access to manage apps."

If you have an individual subscription plan

Solution

  1. Based on your operating system, go to the following location, and then delete
    the ServiceConfig.xml file:

    • Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\Configs\
    • macOS/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/Configs/
    Pastaba:

    You need administrative privileges on the device to delete the ServiceConfig.xml file.

  2. Restart your device.

  3. Launch the Creative Cloud desktop app.
