Learn about the Egypt VAT applicable to electronic goods and services from November 2, 2023.
Adobe is applying the Egypt VAT (Value Added Tax) on electronic services (e-services) starting November 2, 2023. This tax applies to transactions by companies that supply e-services, including Adobe.
How much VAT do I have to pay?
The standard VAT rate is 14% but is subject to change.
I have an existing plan. When will this tax be charged?
For monthly and annual paid monthly plans, you are billed the VAT starting on November 2, 2023. If you have an existing prepaid annual plan, the VAT goes into effect when your plan renews.
Note
This tax change does not affect the base price of your Adobe plan.
My business is tax exempt. How can I provide my tax ID?
You can provide your tax ID starting November 2, 2023.
