Generative credit basics
Generative credits are like tokens you can use to generate high-quality outputs. They can be used with features in many Adobe products. Learn more about Adobe’s approach to generative AI with Adobe Firefly.
Generative credits provide a way to reflect the additional cost and value of our generative features and give you a way to keep track of how you use them. Additionally, they help to ensure smooth and consistent performance of our products and features across all users, given their additional processing power needs.
Photoshop Elements 2027 includes 25 generative credits per month, while the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements bundle includes 100 generative credits per month. Trial users get 10 generative credits for the duration of their trial. If you run out of credits, you can wait for your monthly credits to reset or purchase a Firefly plan for additional credits.
Credits are consumed when using features powered by Firefly or our partner models upon generation. For example, generating an image using Generate Image on the Photoshop Elements will consume generative credits.
For paid subscriptions, generative credits renew monthly based on the date you purchased Elements.
No, generative credits do not roll over to the next month. Your generative credit balance will reset to your allocated amount on a monthly basis.
You can find your monthly reset date in your Account Menu anytime. Your monthly reset date is the day of the month on which you first initiated or were assigned your plan.
