Uninstall Adobe Elements Add-on Utility

Adobe Elements Add-on Utility plug-in is available starting with the 2023 version.

Adobe Elements Add-on utilities is a plug-in that installs necessary components to support Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) files in Photoshop Elements and Elements Organizer.

When you install Adobe Photoshop Elements, components to support Adobe Camera Raw are not installed by default. If you need to use Camera Raw, you can run the Adobe Elements Add-on utilities installer separately to install the required components. Once installed, it is listed as a separate app in Windows and macOS. If you do not require Camera Raw anymore, you can choose to uninstall it and free up the disk space.

To uninstall or view this plug-in after installation, do the following:

Windows

Enter Control Panel in Search on the taskbar and select it from the results.

Select Programs > Programs and Features.

Right-click on Adobe Photoshop Add-on Utilities and select Uninstall.

macOS

Navigate to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ or /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Photoshop Elements Add-on Utilities

Double-click the Adobe Photoshop Add-on Utilities and follow the steps to uninstall.
