Which Elements versions are compatible with macOS Catalina?

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 and Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 work with macOS 10.15 (Catalina) but have these known compatibility issues.

Known compatibility issues with Photoshop Elements

Adobe has discovered the compatibility issues listed below with running Photoshop Elements 2020 with macOS 10.15 (Catalina).

Checking "As a copy" in File > Save dialog does not append “copy” to the file name.

Manually edit the name and add “copy”, or change the name to something unique.

Note: We are working with Apple to address this issue.

Apple color picker causes crash

If you select Preferences > General and set Color Picker to Apple, next time when you open the color picker, Photoshop Elements crashes.

Use Adobe color picker.

Known compatibility issues with Elements Organizer

Adobe has discovered the compatibility issues listed below with running Elements Organizer 2020 with macOS 10.15 (Catalina).

Cmd+A does not work when selecting media in the Import dialog

Any system dialog, wherein you can select media, does not allow you to select all media by pressing cmd+A.

Workaround

Navigate to the parent folder and click Get Media. This automatically imports all media in the parent folder.

“Save in version Set with Original” does not append “_edited-1” to the filename in Save dialog
