Delete a group

A group may be deleted from view by an account-level admin but may not be fully deleted due to dependencies on the group-level settings that pertain to agreements (like retention values).

Please note that:

• Deleted groups can not be recovered to an active status.
  
• All users must be removed from the group before it can be deleted.
• The Default group may not be deleted from view. 

To delete a group from view:

• Select the group by single-clicking it.
  • This exposes the context menu at the top of the list.
• Select Delete Group.

A list of deleted groups can be viewed by clicking the Options icon and selecting Show Only Deleted Groups:

Actions available to a deleted group

Single-click a deleted group to expose the option to edit the group settings.

Double-click a delete group to expose the data governance settings.

Selecting the retention policy exposes the option to Disable or End the policy for the deleted group.
