Question
XFA, which is also known as XFA forms is basically XML based forms wrapped in a PDF. It is created using Adobe LiveCycle.
There are following two types of XFA PDF:
- Static XFA PDFs: Static PDF forms render once and appear on the client in the Adobe Acrobat® or Adobe Reader target version. Unable to re-render it in response to the user interaction.
- Dynamic XFA PDFs: Dynamic PDF forms render on the client in Adobe Reader and depending upon the end-user interactions can re-render on the client several times.
Answer
Adobe Sign supports Static XFA PDF but does not support Dynamic XFA PDF.
