Issue
Text tag shortening does not work with Text-based Merge Fields in Conga.
Environment
Salesforce
Cause
Disable Text-based Merge Fields in Conga and use Standard merge fields.
Resolution
To disable Text-based Merge Fields, do the following steps:
- Go to Setup > installed packages and click configure in front of Conga.
- Disable 'Enable Text-based Merge Fields (Word)'.
Additional information
Note:
If you want to use Text-based Merge Fields, use Drag and drop fields in Adobe Sign instead of text tags.
