In VR, the Substance 3D Reviewer Home page serves as a central hub where you can:
- Launch the tutorial.
- Access your VR preferences.
- Access and manage reviews you have already created, and reviews that have been shared with you.
- Sort and filter reviews.
- Sign out of your account.
Launch the tutorial
The tutorial covers everything you need to know to use Reviewer in VR, including how to:
- Move around the scene with teleportation or smooth movement.
- Pin comments to assets while in a review.
- Pick up and move assets to inspect them from different angles.
- Open and close panels.
Access VR preferences
Use the Preferences button to open the Preferences panel. You can learn more about the options available in the Preferences panel here.
Access and manage your reviews
By default, the Home page shows reviews you have created, sorted by how recently they were created.
To join a review, select the icon of the review you wish to join.
Alternatively, you can use the options button under each review to make changes to that review:
- Share the review with others.
- Open the review in VR.
- Rename the review.
- Delete the review.
Deleting a review will delete it for all users.
Each review also displays information about when it was uploaded and how many people have access to the review.
Shared reviews
To see reviews that have been shared with you, select the Shared with you tab at the top of the list of Reviews.
You cannot delete or rename reviews that have been shared with you.
Filter and sort reviews
For larger libraries of reviews, it’s useful to be able to sort your reviews or search for a specific review.
Use the Sort dropdown to change how reviews are sorted.
Use the Filter search bar to find specific items in your library. The buttons above the search bar allow you to switch between thumbnail and list view.
Sign out of your account
Use the Sign out button to sign out from your account. Depending on how your account is managed, you may only be able to sign in again by launching Reviewer on desktop and using the Launch in VR option.
