The Preferences panel has a collection of options that you can use to customize your VR experience of Substance 3D Reviewer. You can access the Preferences panel with the Preferences button on the VR Home page, or by using SP while in a review.
Note
When you open the Preferences panel from within a review, you can use the Account tab at the top of the panel to sign out of your account.
The following options are available in the Preferences panel:
- Interface scale:
Change the size of menus and panels. Larger panels have larger text which can be easier to read on certain headsets, while smaller panels take up less space and can be easier to manage. - Primary controller:
Change between a right and left handed setup for your controllers. Learn more about handedness here. - Snap turn angle:
Change the size of the rotation when using snap turn. - Use haptics:
Enable or disable tactile feedback through the controllers. - Locomotion vignette:
Locomotion vignette adds a dark border to your vision when using smooth movement. This can help to reduce motion sickness. - Auto-orient to object on teleport:
Enable this setting to automatically point towards the asset whenever you teleport. - Graphics Preset:
Adjust the graphical level of fidelity. A higher quality level will produce better visuals at the cost of reduced performance and battery life. - Legal notices:
Access various legal documents, including the Terms of Use, Privacy agreement, and options to manage your personal information.
