Move or copy pages between two PDFs
Learn how to move or copy pages from one PDF to another using Acrobat on desktop.
You can move or copy pages between two PDFs with a simple drag-and-drop interface. This helps you rearrange or combine content efficiently without converting files.
Windows
Select Menu > Window > Tile > Vertically to view them side by side.
In one PDF, select All tools > Organize pages.
The page thumbnails are displayed in the document area.
Select the page(s) you want to move or copy:
- Select a page thumbnail to select a single page.
- Press Ctrl + click to select multiple pages.
Move or copy the selected page(s):
- To move: Drag the selected thumbnail(s) to the desired location in the target PDF.
- To copy: Right-click the selected thumbnail(s), select Copy, then right-click at the desired location in the target PDF and select Paste.
Select File > Save for both PDFs.
macOS
Open both PDFs in Acrobat
Select Window > Tile > Vertically to view them side by side.
