Learn to split a PDF into smaller, separate files based on pages, bookmarks, or size.
You can split one or more PDFs into multiple smaller PDFs. When splitting a PDF, you can specify the split by the maximum number of pages, maximum file size, or top-level bookmarks.
In the left pane, select Split.
Select the Split by dropdown menu and choose how you want to split the document:
- Number of pages: Divides the PDF into smaller documents, each with a set number of pages.
- File Size: Creates multiple PDFs of a specified file size.
- Top level bookmarks: Splits the PDF at its top-level bookmarks.
To split multiple PDFs, select Split multiple files, select Add files, and choose the PDFs you want to split.
Select Output options to specify:
- Destination folder for the split files.
- Naming convention for the new PDFs.
Select Split.
