Problem:
Presenter converted ZIP file copied from a remote machine (using mstsc) doesnt upload in a meeting.
Method to produce the issue :
Start a remote desktop onto a win-7 machine from a Win-XP machine.
From the win-7 machine copy a Presenter converted zip file to my local desktop.
Then try to upload this zip in a meeting room's share pod.
The zip fails to upload and an error shows up : "There was an error converting your file"
Some Info :
On doing MD5 check of the copied file, MD5 sum came out to be different. Looks like copying a zip file over a remote desktop adds some metadata to the file which the ZIP converter in Connect fails to read and hence throws an error converting the file message.
The issue can be seen with both Presenter 7 as well as Presenter 8 converted zip files.
Solution : We are still looking forward to fix this bug. It is filed as bug# 3287433
