Open a Collection or a Folder and select Assisted Culling > Auto Stack.

Select the criteria you want to use to stack your photos.

  • Time: Groups photos captured within a specific time interval.
  • Visual similarity: Groups photos that look alike based on visual elements.

If image analysis isn't complete, wait for it to finish before proceeding.

Auto-stack dialog box is opened over Library module in Lightroom Classic canvas.
Select the checkbox to choose the criteria.

Drag the slider to refine the result and view updates.

Select  Stack.

If the stacks being created span across multiple folders, adjust the slider settings before stacking. Lightroom Classic does not allow stacking across folders.

Lightroom will pick the best photo from the stack and use it as the top photo in the Stack.
