Presets provide a way to save a group of settings and apply them to other photos. Once you create and add a preset to the Presets panel in the Develop module, it remains there until you delete it. The presets also appear in the list of Develop settings which you can apply while importing photos.
To import Develop presets in Lightroom Classic, do any of the following:
You cannot export built-in Lightroom Classic presets or preset groups. You can export only custom presets.
In the Develop module, select a user or third-party preset in the Presets panel that you want to export.
Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) the preset and choose Export.
Specify the file name and click Save.
To migrate presets between computers, manually copy presets from old computer and paste it in the new computer. The presets are located at the following location:
Windows: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings
macOS: Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings

There are some presets which are partially compatible with the selected photo as not all of the settings of the preset can be applied to the photo. If you want to see the partially compatible presets, go to Edit > Preferences > Presets (Windows) or Lightroom Classic > Preference > Presets (macOS) and select Show Partially Compatible Develop Presets.
If you are working with more than one catalog, you may find that your presets are missing while working with a particular catalog. This can happen if you have the Store presets with this catalog option selected in the preferences. To fix this, do the following;
