Learn how to save your PDF form as a Reader Extended PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro, allowing Acrobat Reader users to fill in and save forms.
In Acrobat Pro, you can save a PDF form as a Reader Extended PDF, which allows Acrobat Reader users to fill in, save, comment on, and use measuring tools in the PDF form.
Select any one of the following options as needed:
- Enable Commenting & Measuring: Allows users to add comments and use measurement tools.
- Enable More Tools (includes form fill-in & save): Allows Reader users to save data they've entered in interactive or fillable forms.
Select OK.
In the Save as PDF dialog box, type a name, choose the location, and then select Save.
