Issue
How to add a Background Image to a Topic or Topics.
Solution
This can be done by specifying a background image in the style sheet(s) used by your topics or by applying an inline background to each topic. Remember that a background image needs to be added to your projects baggage folder.
To add an inline background image:

Select the topic(s) to format. To select multiple topics, press and hold the CTRL key while you click each one.

Right click one of the selected topics.

Choose PROPERTIES

Click the "Appearance" tab
-
In the "Backgrounds Option" section, click on the "Use Image" checkbox
-
If you want the image to appear as a watermark, click on the "Display Image as Watermark" checkbox.

From the "Image" field, browse to and select the desired image file

Click the "OK" button
-
Click the "Project" tab in the lower left of the screen.

Right-click on the "Baggage Files" folder (located on the left hand RoboHelp HTML pane).

Select NEW BAGGAGE FILE
-
Browse and select this same file you selected as the background in Step # 7
-
Click the "OPEN" button

Click FILE from the menu bar.

Click SAVE ALL.

Generate WebHelp or HTML Help and test your project
To add a background image to a style sheet:

Click the "Topics" tab in the lower right of the screen

Select the topic(s) to format. To select multiple topics, press and hold the CTRL key while you click each one.

Right click one of the selected topics.

Choose PROPERTIES

Click the "Appearance" tab

Click the "EDIT" button at the end of the "Style Sheet" field.

Click (highlight) the "Body" style in the "Styles" field.

Click the "EDIT" button.

Select the "Background" tab
-
Browse to and select the desired background image file you wish to use and click OK.

Click OK on each dialog box until you are back to the main RoboHelp window.

Click the "Project" tab in the lower left of the screen.

Right-click on the "Baggage Files" folder (located on the left hand RoboHelp HTML pane).

Select NEW BAGGAGE FILE
-
Browse and select this same file you selected as the background in Step # 9
-
Click the "OPEN" button
-
Click FILE from the menu bar.

Click SAVE ALL.

Generate WebHelp or HTML Help and test your project.
