Published Help topics not visible in Internet Explorer 10

Issue

When you open the WebHelp in IE 10, click Index, Search, or Glossary, and then click a topic in the Contents tab, the topic doesn't appear in the right pane. Also, when you click an item in the Index and Search results, the right pane does not display the relevant topic.

Solutions

New WebHelp output from RoboHelp 10

This update fixes the problem on the computer where you have installed RoboHelp. After applying this update, the WebHelp output you generate from RoboHelp doesn't have this issue.

  1. Unzip FixForRH10Install.zip. You get two folders: template_skin and template_skinpreview.
  2. Paste the folders to: [RoboHTMLInstallDir]\Webhelp5Ext.
  3. Click Yes To All to overwrite the existing folders of the same name.

Existing WebHelp created with RoboHelp 10

This update fixes the problem on the server that hosts the WebHelp generated using RoboHelp 10.

  1. Unzip FixForPublishedOutputRH10.zip. You get two files: whskin_frmset01.htm and whtbar.js.
  2. Paste the two files in the !SSL!\[WebHelpOutput] directory.
  3. Click Yes To All to overwrite the existing files of the same name.
