Mission:
We’re seeking images of friends engaging in outdoor activities in nature. Images should capture authentic moments and physical movements that evoke a sense of adventure and connection with the natural world.
Deliverables:
Upload 500-1000 images of two or more subjects per submission for this Mission.
You can submit content for this Mission up to 10 times.
If you reuse the same subjects in multiple Mission submissions, make sure to photograph them in a different context (e.g., changing scenes, location, group mix, outfits, and scenarios) to avoid similarity rejection.
Title your submission with a short description of how the friends are interacting: e.g., two friends hiking up a mountain during sunset
Post-production: no need for metadata or post-processing.
Images submitted to Missions should NOT currently be in Adobe Stock. Submitted Missions with images that already exist in Adobe Stock will be rejected during the moderation process and contributors won’t be compensated for such submissions.
You will receive the payment displayed in the Adobe Stock Contributor Portal for each approved Mission submission. Please note, you will receive the total amount for each accepted Mission submission of 500-1000 assets.
Subject Guidance:
We seek a diverse range of people representing various ages, genders, body sizes, and physical abilities. Avoid submitting portraits where subjects are smiling and looking directly at the camera. Focus on capturing genuine moments of people enjoying outdoor activities and connecting with nature rather than staged or posed shots. Subjects should be interacting, performing an action or engaged in activities that may include, but not limited to:
Hiking
Camping
Swimming
Picnicking
Fishing
Cycling
Exercising
Clothing and Styling:
You can photograph your subjects wearing the same or different clothing within each submission. Ensure the clothing does not contain brand names, pictures, or logos. If you are reusing the same subjects for multiple submissions, make sure you change their clothing to maintain variety and avoid repetition. Multiple submissions of subjects in similar environments performing the same activities or wearing the same clothing will be rejected.
Lighting:
Natural or artificial light.
Locations:
Natural settings such as parks, beaches, forests, lakes, deserts, canyons, grasslands, rivers, and mountains. DO NOT use any urban or city locations as they are prone to intellectual property issues.
Crop + Perspective:
Prioritize far away and full-length shots (~80% of the submission) where you can see more of the environment and your subjects’ faces are small.
Shoot a few medium shots from the waist up (20% of the submission).
Avoid closeup portraits where you can only see a subject's shoulders and face (our primary goal is to capture human body movement).
A variety of images is essential to your submission; leverage focal length, angles/heights and camera to subject distance to your advantage to produce the most varied dataset possible per submission.
Similar Content:
Avoid submitting lengthy series of near duplicates. It’s okay for a Mission submission to include a few series from the same scene, but only to a point. Missions with images that are too similar and repetitive will be rejected during the moderation process and contributors won’t be compensated for such submissions.
Please see this link for in-depth information about our tolerance for near-similar series content.
Common Mission Rejection Reasons:
Technical quality.
The subject matter NOT relevant to the Mission’s content brief.
Sharing the same models/subjects with other Mission contributors.
Similar content: images are identical or nearly identical (shot on burst mode).
Non-compliant: images have IP (intellectual property) or offensive issues.
Images submitted on Adobe Stock already.
