Resolve payment issues due to Central Bank of Egypt's mandate

Learn what to do if payment for your Adobe apps and services is declined due to the Central Bank of Egypt's new rules for transactions using credit and debit cards.

The Central Bank of Egypt has restricted international transactions on domestic debit cards and credit cards issued in foreign currency. If you're using a debit card or credit card issued in foreign currency, you must update your payment information to an Egyptian credit card in local currency.

How to resolve payment failure for credit and debit cards

If you have a Creative Cloud for teams subscription, learn how to update your payment information. If you have an individual subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Select Edit billing and payment to update your payment information to an Egyptian credit or debit card in local currency.

  2. To add a new card, select Add new. To reinitiate with the same card, select Edit.

    Select 'Add new' or 'Edit' to add a new card or edit existing card details

  3. Do one of the following:

    • To add a new card, enter the details and select Save.
    • To reinitiate payment with the same card, re-enter the card number and select Save.
