If you do not want to use a Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking the quiz scores, Adobe Captivate provides you with alternate reporting options. You can now choose Acrobat.com or an internal web server as your reporting servers.
After the user submits the quiz result, Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer, an AIR-based desktop application, lets you analyze the assessment report in online and offline modes.
After you set the reporting preference, the process happens in the background and usually requires no user intervention.
For Acrobat.com: If you have signed up, specify the username and password.
If you are new to Acrobat.com or if you lost your password, click the respective links which take you to Acrobat.com website where you can register or retrieve your password.
For Internal Server: Specify the path to the web server as provided in the following example:
The internal server can be a web server of your preference.
internalServerReporting.php is the sample PHP that is available in the Adobe Captivate installation folder. You can either use it or create your own server-side file, for example a PHP or ASP to write files to the server. Ensure that the server allows writing to files.
Use Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer for viewing and downloading the results.
Though the user submits the quiz result to Acrobat.com, you cannot directly view the results. If you are using an internal web server, manually retrieve the report. Adobe Captivate Quiz Results Analyzer lets you overcome these constrains.
