- VIP Marketplace
Applies to enterprise & teams.
Renewals
Licenses purchased through VIP Marketplace automatically renew by default for the following year. Your annual licenses will automatically renew with Adobe on your Anniversary Date at the partner price in effect for your qualifying discount level (prices subject to change), unless your reseller turns off auto-renewal or cancels with Adobe at least 3 days before your Anniversary Date. See your reseller for their applicable change or cancel period, which may be longer than 3 days.
If you opt-out of automatic renewal, contact your reseller to place your renewal order in advance of your Anniversary Date. If you do not place a renewal order before your Anniversary Date, then your licenses will be deactivated, as your license term expires the day before your Anniversary Date. You may update your renewal settings by contacting your reseller. For clarity, your reseller will determine your Product fees.
Discount level at renewal
Your discount level at renewal is based on your qualifying license count on your Anniversary Date. For example, if in your current term you are at discount level 2 (10-49 licenses) and in your renewal term your auto-renewal order is for 50-99 licenses, you will receive the level 3 discount level. Also, if in your current term your Adobe product offer is based on promotional pricing, then in your renewal term, your Adobe product offer will be based on standard pricing because the promotional pricing expired.
Renewing all licenses
VIP Marketplace Members who wish to renew all of their existing licenses should contact their reseller to obtain a quote for all licenses due for renewal. No additional action is required in the Admin Console.
When the VIP Marketplace Admin logs into the Admin Console, an alert will appear notifying the Admin of the approaching Anniversary Date with the suggestion to contact your reseller to place a renewal order.
Changing products for your next License Term
If you wish to change products for your next License Term, you may do so by contacting your reseller. After the order has been processed by Adobe, you must:
- Use the Admin Console to designate which users of the existing product(s) you wish to deprovision.
- Assign licenses within the Admin Console for any new products added.
Partial renewal
If you wish to renew only some of your licenses for the next License Term, then you will need to contact your reseller to place your order. In the Admin Console, the VIP Marketplace Admin must select the named users whose licenses will be deprovisioned. If you do not select which licenses to remove, Adobe will automatically remove licenses based on the following:
- Licenses that have never been assigned
- The most recently assigned licenses
Note: Unassigning licenses in the Admin Console is not sufficient to indicate that you do not wish to renew the licenses. You must contact your reseller to ensure that they place the correct renewal order.
Expiration of licenses
Licenses not renewed by the Anniversary Date are considered expired and will be removed from the account.
To reactivate licenses after they have been removed from the Admin Console, a new order must be placed. The VIP Marketplace Admin will then reassign the license to the end user.
