The Sign tool is now available consistently in the toolbar for ease of access. It provides single-click access to fill and sign a document.

Note:
If you've customized the quick toolbar, the Global Sign tool won't be visible. To add the tool, right-click anywhere on the toolbar, select Customize Quick Tools > Fill, Sign, and Track > Sign and then click Save.
The files in the recent list are now labeled as Shared, Unshared, or Review based on the action taken on the file. You can now easily identify your shared files.

A new preference has been added to display checkboxes for comments. To make checkbox visible for the comments, do the following:
- Go to Edit > Preferences (Windows), or Acrobat > Preferences (macOS). The preferences dialog box is displayed.
- In the Commenting category, select Show Checkbox under Making Comments.

The navigation pane of a PDF Portfolio now supports drag-and-drop to:
- Rearrange files within a folder of the PDF Portfolio.
- Drop files to folders, or a folder to another folder provided both are at the same level or folder.

For review documents, the tools like Create PDF, Combine Files, Export PDF, and Compare Files are now enabled in the Tools center and the right-hand pane.

When you select files sent for viewing or review in the Home view, you can now copy shared link or review link in the context pane. You can also add recipients to an existing shared file using the ‘Add recipients’ option in the right-hand pane.

You can further share a review document by using the Share button. If you're the initiator, you can add more reviewers to a review document. If you're a recipient or reviewer, you can copy the review link and share it with others.

When you select files in the Home view, you now have the following two new features available in the context pane, in addition to the Share and the Remove from Recent option:
- Open: Use this option to open multiple filed directly from the context pane at once instead of opening the files individually.

Delete and download/save a copy options for unshared files in the context pane and the right-hand pane
When you choose an unshared file in the recent view or open the file, the context pane and the right-hand pane now provide the same options that are available for a shared file – Delete Shared File and Download / Save A Copy.

You can now create PDFs from your SharePoint online Word files using Acrobat DC. The feature uses the Document Cloud create PDF service to convert documents to PDFs.
Now you can use Adobe Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader DC Windows desktop applications to open files protected with MIP (Microsoft Information Protection) solutions including Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Information Protection using Office 365.
Acrobat Reader DC / Acrobat DC auto-detects a MIP-protected file and prompts you to download the corresponding plugin from the helpx page. Once you download and install the plug-in, the protected files open like any other PDF in Acrobat or Reader.
When you select a sticky note, the selected note increases in size with a thick blue boundary making it easy to distinguish from the rest of the comments.

Use of “@mention” is now enhanced to auto-complete the intended reviewers. You can also use the @ symbol in comments.
Workflows involving annotations, for example, exporting comments to MS Word and send mail in Acrobat DC, are now supported for MS Office 2019.

The To do cards in the Home page of Acrobat now have a page indicator to indicate the current page in relation to all available pages.
