Improved Select Subject.

Select Subject in Photoshop is more precise at selecting complex, detailed objects like hair. It’s also always on by default. You no longer have to toggle on cloud processing to enable the feature.

   

Dynamic text.

Customize text faster in Photoshop with type that automatically adjusts font size, spacing, and layout within a boundary. Make a text box, change its dimensions, and then watch the text adjust itself to fit.

Range selectors for colors in Photoshop are easier than ever to use, thanks to your input. Detect the most prominent colors in an image instantly, and get to work fine-tuning hues and shades.

   

New Remove tool.

Technological updates in the Remove tool enhance the efficacy and quality of removal. Remove unwanted elements and automatically replace them with high-quality content that seamlessly blends with the background.

   

Color adjustment updates.

Adjust Colors in the Contextual Task Bar now auto-detects the most prominent colors in your image. Use the color swatches to easily make targeted adjustments to hue, saturation, and lightness.

   

Improved Object Selection.

Say goodbye to tedious refinements on your selections. Thanks to new improvements, the Object Selection tool in Photoshop is more accurate and efficient, even around complex edges, like hair.

Improvements in Illustrator.

   

Artboard management.

Managing multiple artboards in Illustrator just got easier. Rename, lock, and rearrange artboards without switching tools or zooming in. Plus, work faster with editable labels and selective exporting.

   

Smarter snapping.

With the updates to snapping in Illustrator,  you can use Snap to Tangent or Snap to Perpendicular to create precise paths without extra steps. Also, limit snapping to a specific artboard or object to draw with more precision.

   

Color updates.

Illustrator now supports perceptual and dithering gradients for natural blends, has new gradient presets, and a clearer color picker. More control, less manual work.

   

Enhanced font browser.

It’s never been easier to explore, organize, and create with 30,000+ fonts inside Illustrator. Smart filters, simple 3-tab layouts, and personalized libraries put your fonts at your fingertips faster than ever.

   

Speed improvements.

Illustrator just got a whole lot quicker. It launches up to 3x faster, saves files up to 6x faster, and handles linked artwork with ease. You can stay in your workflow and create faster without the waiting.

   

Paste on selected artboards.

You can now paste the same element on several selected artboards in Illustrator, saving a ton of time. Use familiar shortcuts like paste in front or paste in back to make precise changes, several times over.

   

Save patterns & gradients.

Save gradients and pattern swatches to Creative Cloud libraries. Select Add Elements from the Libraries panel and choose Fill/Stroke Pattern or Fill/Stroke Gradient from the drop-down menu.

   

Extract color.

Create a color swatch palette in Illustrator based on colors in a piece of artwork. Display the results as HEX, RGB, HSB, or CMYK, and ensure maximum precision when sharing colors for brand guidelines.

   

Smart file naming.

Say goodbye to tedious manual file naming. Instead, organize your work in just a few clicks. Simply create a prefix, choose files, and check a box. Mass exporting of multiple artboards has never been easier.

   

Snapping enhancements.

Design with greater control and precision in Illustrator. Snapping is more flexible and intuitive with a centralized panel. Snap to grid with clear feedback about where objects are snapping to.

By popular demand, you can now find your best photos in seconds. Assisted Culling detects subject focus, facial expression, and image quality, so you can quickly identify your winning shots and ditch the rest.

   

Better distraction removal.

Technological advancements in the Distraction Removal tool in Lightroom deliver more seamless and precise removal. It helps you automatically identify and edit out distracting people in the background of your photos.

   

Quick Actions updates.

With updated Quick Actions in Lightroom, you can do even more advanced edits with a tap. Apply a specific look, isolate backgrounds, amp up the sky, and edit out blemishes in a blink.

Improvements in Premiere Pro.

   

Media intelligence improvements.

Locating sounds and dialogue in your footage is easier than ever in Premiere. The Search panel now includes audio. Just type something like “dog barking” or “siren” and find the sound you're looking for.

   

Workflow improvements.

Apply filters to Search panel results, change labels of Sequence color tabs, set a custom font for text, and work more easily with MKV files. All of these changes were developed from community feedback.

   

90 new effects and transitions.

The possibilities are endless with Film Impact's library, now built into Premiere Pro. The “Surprise me” button randomizes transitions and animations for thousands of effect variations — all of which playback in real-time.

   

Live waveform editing.

Audio editing just got more precise and intuitive with dynamic audio waveforms. As you edit, the waveform adjusts, so you immediately see how your edits are impacting the audio.

   

Captions translation.

Create captions and subtitles instantly. Automatically transcribe video dialogue and translate it into 27 different languages with Premiere Pro, without the need for a third-party translation service.

   

New Properties Panel.

Work on multiple clips at the same time with the new Properties Panel. Contextually change settings like speed and crop in different clips, and access other effects with time-saving ease.

    

Improved Color Management.

Transform raw footage from almost any camera without the tedious manual work. Apply powerful presets, use a new colorspace-aware Lumetri panel, and exercise even more color control.

   

Media Intelligence.

Meet Media Intelligence, powering your new Search panel in Premiere Pro. Just describe any clip you need to find — using everyday language — and find it fast.

   

Text-Based Editing.

Text-Based Editing is an entirely new way to edit. Instead of watching hours of footage just to find the right sound bites, now you can search for keywords in transcripts and add them to the Timeline to start your rough cut.
