Learn how Analyzer in Sign consumes Acrobat Sign transactions when documents are ingested and analyzed.
Analyzer consumes transactions when it ingests documents. Each ingested document consumes the same number of transactions, regardless of how the document is added.
Transaction consumption rate
| Operation | Transaction consumption |
|---|---|
| Ingest a document | 10 Acrobat Sign transactions |
| Run strict extraction | No additional transactions |
| Run interpretive extraction | No additional transactions |
Strict and interpretive extraction are included with document ingestion and do not consume additional transactions.
How consumption is calculated
Transaction consumption is calculated for each document ingested.
| Example | Calculation | Total consumption |
|---|---|---|
| Ingest 1 document | 1 × 10 | 10 transactions |
| Ingest 10 documents | 10 × 10 | 100 transactions |
| Ingest 10 documents and run extraction | 10 × 10 | 100 transactions |
Running strict or interpretive extraction does not increase the transaction total.
Ingestion methods
The same rate applies regardless of how a document enters Analyzer, including:
- Manual upload
- API ingestion
- SharePoint ingestion
