Filter a collection using attributes in Analyzer in Sign

Last updated on Aug 17, 2026

Filter a collection to narrow the document list based on extracted attribute values.

Use attribute filters to focus on documents that meet specific criteria, such as dates, numeric values, or text matches. You can combine multiple filters to narrow the results further.

Before you begin

Make sure:

  • The collection contains extracted attributes.
  • At least one attribute is enabled and available to you.
  • You understand that filtering affects only the current collection view.

Filter a collection

Open the collection.

Select Filter data to open the filter panel.

Select an attribute from Filter by.

Select a condition from Condition.

Available conditions depend on the attribute type. For example:

  • Date attributes can include conditions such as Before or After.
  • Numeric attributes can include conditions such as Greater than or Less than.
  • Text attributes can include conditions such as Contains or Equals.

Enter any additional value required by the selected condition.

Collection view with the Filter data panel open and available filtering criteria displayed.
Use Filter data to narrow the collection to documents that match selected file or attribute criteria.

Select Apply.

Apply additional filters

You can combine multiple filters to narrow the results further.

Select + Add filter and define each additional condition. Each applied filter appears above the document list.

Edit a filter

Select the Edit icon (pencil) on an applied filter to open it for editing.

Analyzer automatically refreshes the collection.

Remove a filter

Select the Delete icon (garbage can) on an applied filter to remove it.

Analyzer automatically refreshes the collection.

How filtering works

  • Filters affect only the current collection view.
  • Filters do not modify documents or extracted attributes.
  • You can add, change, or remove filters at any time.
