Figyelmeztetés:

The migration of device licenses to shared device licenses is not available in the last 5 days of your renewal window.

Introduction

Shared Device Licensing is a licensing method that allows multiples end users to use Adobe products and services on shared devices.

The Admin Console lets IT admins seamlessly transition from Device Licensing to Shared Device Licensing. After your users are migrated, they will have access to your purchased Adobe products and services.

Migrate to Shared Device Licensing

  1. Sign into the Admin Console.

The Products page displays the licenses purchased by your organization. The licenses that require migration are marked with the i icon. Clicking this icon opens a pop-up window.

  2. Click Migrate to begin the migration process.

Alternatively, you can navigate to the Products page, and click Start in the message that is displayed.

Redeploy packages

After you complete the process of migrating your Device Licenses to Shared Device Licenses, you need to then redeploy these new licenses to the devices that were in your institution on which device licenses were previously deployed.

To do this, you need to first create new Shared device license packages and then deploy these new packages to the devices as required.

Go through the following documents for details on the above procedures:

  1. Unistall existing device licenses
  2. Create Shared device license packages
  3. Deploying packages

For a step-by-step guide on how to set up and get started with Shared Device Licensing, we recommend that you use the Deployment Guide.
