Switch between chatting and hands-on editing, in the chat or by opening the design in Adobe Express. Create flyers, posters, invitations, greeting cards, social posts, business cards, menus, and more.
Add Adobe to AI chat
Connect Adobe to your AI chat app: Adobe for ChatGPT, Adobe for Claude, Adobe for Gemini, or Adobe for Copilot. Setup steps and signing-in requirements may vary depending on the chat app you use. For technical requirements, availability, and language support, see these help resources.
What you can ask for
Start by describing what you want to make, and matching templates appear in the chat. For example, type: Adobe, I want to create a social media post for an upcoming promotion. Once you've chosen a template, ask for changes in everyday language. Here's what's supported today, with sample prompts to explore.
Work with text
- Replace or fill text: Fill this template with: Neon New Year's, Dec 31, 8 pm, Rooftop Plaza
- Add new text boxes: Add a text box at the bottom that says RSVP by Dec 15
- Change text color, font, and size: Make the title white, bold, and larger
- Add text shadows: Add a soft shadow to the headline
- Delete text: Remove the subtitle
Work with images
- Upload your own photo and replace an image: Replace the main image with my uploaded photo
- Apply image effects: Make the photo black and white
- Delete images: Remove the snowflake graphic
Arrange your layout
- Reposition and resize text and images: Make the background image fill the page and keep the text where it is
- Change opacity: Make the background image 50% transparent
Change the look and feel
- Change the background color: Change the background to charcoal gray or use a hex code like #003366
- Apply a design style: Make the color scheme retro
Tip
If an action isn’t supported in your AI chat app, you may receive a message explaining the limitation. Try a supported alternative or open your design in Adobe Express. We’re adding support for new capabilities over time.
Edit in chat or in Adobe Express
Each design has a button that lets you choose where to keep editing: Edit in chat and Edit in Adobe Express. Both options appear whenever they're supported. Your changes sync, so you can start in chat, finish in Adobe Express, or switch back and forth.
- Edit in chat opens the editor within your conversation, where you can change individual text boxes, images, and other parts of your design.
- Edit in Adobe Express opens your design in the full Adobe Express editor, where you can refine, export, and share it. Conversational editing works much as it does in AI chat, and includes features that aren’t yet available through the connector.
