Export | Project Pulsar (Beta)

Project Pulsar can export 2D (monoscopic) or 3D (stereoscopic) videos and images.

Note

2D (monoscopic) media is meant for viewing on most mobile devices, computers and TVs.

3D (stereoscopic) media is meant to be viewed on compatible XR and VR devices.

When you’re ready to export your project, simply tap the Export button at the top right of the Timeline window to open the Export panel.

From the Export panel, you can:

  1. Share directly to YouTube.
  2. Share the video via the share sheet.
  3. Download the video to your device.

Share to YouTube

To share your video directly to YouTube:

  1. Tap the blue Export button in the top right of the timeline panel.
  2. Select Share to YouTube.
  3. Choose to export Monoscopic or Stereoscopic video.
  4. Select Share to YouTube.

Share via the share sheet

To share your video or image from the share sheet:

  1. Tap the blue Export button in the top right of the timeline panel
  2. Select the Export to... option.
  3. Choose to export Monoscopic or Stereoscopic video
  4. Select Share video.
  5. Once the video has been rendered, select a destination to save the video or an app to open the video from the options available in the system’s share sheet.
Note

If you want to export the current frame as an image, toggle ‘Download current frame as image’ on. When this is enabled, a monoscopic or stereoscopic image will be saved instead of a video.

Download to device

To download your video or image to your device:

  1. Tap the blue Export button in the top right of the timeline panel.
  2. Select Download.
  3. Choose to export Monoscopic or Stereoscopic video.
  4. Select Download video.
  5. Once the video has been exported, it will automatically save to your device in Files > Downloads.

Export an image

To export an image:

  1. Ensure the frame you want to export as an image is visible in the main viewport.
  2. Tap the blue Export button in the top right of the timeline panel.
  3. Select Download.
  4. Enable the Download current frame as image toggle.
  5. Select Download image.
