Project Pulsar’s unique spatial video editor is where you add and modify 3D elements and text.
With the Pulsar editor you can:
- Preview your project with an intuitive video timeline.
- Add and modify custom 3D text.
- Add 3D elements from the provided library.
- Add audio.
- Adjust the scene lighting.
- Export your project.
Overview
Top bar
From the Top bar in the editor, you can:
- View the project’s name.
- Return to the Pulsar home page (when you are in the editor).
- Enter the Home space.
Timeline
When no object is selected in the scene, you can:
- Add new text.
- Add an audio track. This button becomes Replace audio if an audio track has already been added.
- Undo / Redo.
- Jump to the beginning or end of the timeline.
- Step by 1 frame.
- Export your project.
When a 3D object is selected in the scene, you can:
- Duplicate the selection.
- Reset the selected object’s rotation.
- Trim the selected object's track.
When a 3D text object is selected in the scene, you can:
- Edit the text.
- Choose a text preset.
- Duplicate the selection.
- Reset the selected object’s rotation.
- Trim the selected element’s track.
Side panel
Text
When the Presets view is selected in the timeline panel.
- Add a new text object.
- Choose a text preset from a list.
Text
When the Fonts view is selected in the timeline panel.
- Add a new text object.
- Choose a font from a list.
Elements
When the Color view is selected in the timeline panel.
- View the current color of the text object.
- View and edit the color’s hex value.
- Pick a color from a set of color swatches.
Text
When the 3D settings view is selected in the timeline panel.
- Adjust the 3D depth of a text object.
- Toggle whether or not the text object receives lighting.
Audio
Adjust or add audio to your project.
- Adjust the source video volume if it has audio.
- Add, remove, or replace an external audio file.
- Adjust the external audio file volume.
Scene
Adjust the viewport settings.
- Set the spatial depth of your project.
- Toggle the spatial viewport on /off.
