Select media that will work best with Project Pulsar
Project Pulsar usually generates accurate spatial videos and images from 2D media, but certain factors can cause the process to fail or produce inaccurate results. Try to avoid media that has the following:
- Quick, large movements that cause heavy motion blur.
- Very dark footage.
- Heavy depth of field blur.
- Video and images with few distinct features.
Adjust video depth
Project Pulsar automatically sets the depth of your videos and usually gets it right. If it looks good to you, no changes are needed. However, if the depth appears too extreme or too flat, you can adjust it manually in the app.
To manually adjust the “depth” of your media:
- Select the Scene button at the bottom of the toolbar.
- Adjust the Spatial depth slider until your media looks correct to you.
Note
Adjusting the Spatial depth slider will affect how much depth there is when your exported spatial media is viewed on supported devices.
