Check to see what version of ISScript is on your computer. ISScript can be found in the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver

Issue
When you install Adobe Contribute, you see the error "the InstallScript engine is missing from this machine, if available, please run the ISScript.msi, or contact your support personnel for further assistance."
Reason
The Contribute installer is unable to find the version of ISScript.msi of your machine that works with the Contribute installer. A more recent version of InstallShield is required.
Solution
Download the InstallShield update.

If you already have version 9, delete the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\9 from your computer.

Choose version 9 for the installer and unzip the file.

Double-click on the ISScript.msi file. This will install the ISScript engine.
