Open ChatGPT desktop or web and select Plugins from the left sidebar.
Discover how Adobe for ChatGPT brings Adobe's creativity and productivity tools directly into your ChatGPT workflows.
Adobe for ChatGPT provides access to capabilities from Photoshop, Premiere, Firefly, Express, Acrobat, and other Adobe capabilities directly in ChatGPT through conversation. With the plugin, you can describe what you want to create or edit in ChatGPT, and Adobe tools will handle images, videos, documents, and other content based on your requests.
You can use the plugin to edit and transform photos, create PDFs, design social assets, resize videos for different platforms, search Creative Cloud assets, and generate data-driven documents.
The Photoshop plugin has been replaced by the Adobe plugin on ChatGPT — a single plugin for skills and tools across creativity, productivity, and more. Reconnect to continue using Photoshop tools along with a broader toolkit, all in one place.
Workflows enabled by Adobe for ChatGPT
Adobe for ChatGPT supports different workflows based on your Adobe services and capabilities. These workflows include:
- Retouch and edit photos in bulk: Upload one or more images and describe the look you want. Adobe for ChatGPT can help you adjust color, lighting, and tone. You can also remove distractions, generate new elements, replace backgrounds, apply presets, blur, crop, resize, and expand images.
Example workflows:- Upload a set of team headshots and ask Adobe to balance the lighting, crop them consistently, and prepare them for a company profile page.
- Prompt to search for specific lifestyle photos in your Creative Cloud folder (i.e., all images from the beach) and ask Adobe to apply a consistent visual style across the batch.
- Refine videos for any platform: Upload a video and ask Adobe to adapt it for different channels and formats.
Example workflows:- Upload a horizontal video and ask Adobe to resize it for YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels.
- Create a quick-cut video that highlights the best moments from a longer tutorial or walkthrough.
- Design from templates and create PDFs: Start from an Express template, update text and colors, and then animate for social media, or convert to a polished PDF.
Example workflows:- Create an Instagram Story for a boutique sale, then update the text, colors, and animation.
- Create a flyer for a local yoga studio, customize the design with updated text and colors, and convert it into a polished PDF for print.
- Create data-driven documents: Describe your output and provide your data — the plugin turns raw data or content into formatted, shareable PDFs, including badges, cards, catalogs, and more.
Example workflows:- Generate event badges from a list of attendee names.
- Create cards, catalogs, or structured PDFs from a dataset.
Adobe for ChatGPT will continue to evolve as Adobe expands supported workflows and learns from user feedback.
