You can use Substance 3D Modeler in VR, but it is not required. All of Modeler's functionality is available on both desktop and in VR, so you can create with either platform. Everybody has their own workflow, and we recommend using both desktop and VR together if possible so you can find which works best for you.

Modeler currently only support Meta or Oculus headsets, although support for additional headsets is planned. Visit the technical requirements page for a full list of supported headsets and controllers.
